This is book three in the Chesapeake Valor Series; and if you have not read the first two books yet, I would recommend reading them first otherwise you will be totally lost. I did read the previous books, and it took me a while to figure out where we were in the story. I loved getting reacquainted with all of the characters, and we finally get to learn more about what happened to the mysterious disappearance of Luke. Once you get into the swing of the book, you need to hang on for an exciting ride. The ending is a bit abrupt though, but otherwise you will not be disappointed.
