“Like Never Before” is the first book that I have read by Melissa Tagg and all I can say is “WOW”. I loved every bit of this book. I could not put the book down and was sad when it was over because I wanted to keep reading more. I fell in love with the characters from the very beginning. I felt like I was part of the book and any time that I can put myself in the book as one of the characters that is definitely a good thing. I hope that I can get copies of the first book and the prequel to this terrific series because I am totally in love with the Walker family. Melissa herself said that she fell in love with Logan, and I can totally understand why. He is charming, gentlemanly, caring, thoughtful, and so much more. When I got to about the third or fourth chapter I found myself thinking that the family element in the book reminded me of something else that I have read recently and then it hit me, the Walker family by Melissa Tagg reminded me of the Christiansen family by Susan May Warren. Not to take anything away from Susan May Warren, but I like and enjoyed this book about the Walker family more. I also found myself thinking of my own sisters as I read this book because they are both old movie buffs. I told my sister about the references to “His Girl Friday” and “To Have and Have Not” and she was excited and jealous at the same time because now she wants to the book for herself. There is also a historical mystery in the book that made me think of my sister the history buff.  I love finding good clean books that I can share with my family and friends without worrying about them thinking “What in the world kind of books are you reading”. I can’t wait to read more in the Walker family series by Melissa Tagg. If you love good clean romantic fiction, then this book is definitely for you.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Bethany House Publishers in exchange for my honest review.
