FBI Agent Kaitlyn Knight witnessed her brother-in-law murder her sister and now she is out for revenge. She has searched for her him for three years, but has not had a solid lead to him. All of that changes when a serial killer begins to taunt Kait with his success on being able to get away with murder. Kait immediately believes that her brother-in-law is behind the murders, but she can’t seem to convince anybody else that he is the murderer.
Homicide detective Sam Murdock is assigned to the first murder investigation, but he never expected that it would turn into a race against time to catch a serial killer. Sam takes his job very seriously, but he never expected to run into some like Kait who also takes her job just as seriously. They begin to work together to try and catch the killer before he strikes again, but when he directly targets Kait, Sam wants to try and protect her at all cost even if she claims she doesn’t need his protection. Will they be able to stop the killer before Kait becomes his next victim or will they be too late?

“Web of Deceit” is book one for the Agents Under Fire series. This book is filled with lots of suspense, drama, and adventure. The villain is very scary and while I liked the book for the most part, I would recommend that you NOT read the book right before going to bed. The story is filled with many twists and turns that will keep your attention until the end.
I received a complimentary copy from the author in exchange for my honest review.
