This week I studied about how the Book of Proverbs describes God.
1. The Book of Proverbs shows us seven things that the Lord hates and that are an abomination to him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
2. God will punish the wicked.
3. God will deliver the righteous.
4. God sees everything that we do.
5. Our prayers are a delight to God.
6. God loves those who follow righteousness.
7. God weighs the spirits.
8. The Name of the Lord is a strong tower.
9. God is the only One Who can keep us totally safe.
10. There is no wisdom, understanding, or counsel against the Lord.
