Marisa St. George has been released from her lucrative job in Atlanta and has nowhere to go. She has no choice but to return home to the small town in Texas where she grew up. The only problem with returning home is she wants to stay away from home and the memories of home for the rest of her life. Upon returning home she accepts a position as business manager at the Rainbow’s End resort. At first she thinks this job is a piece of cake and definitely a major step backward in her career. But the more she gets to know the people and all that the job entails, she finds that she actually enjoys her new job more than she ever thought possible. The person most responsible for her change in attitude is Blake Kendall. Blake is a guest at the resort with his own set of troubles and secrets. Blake and Marisa are instantly attracted to each other, but the many secrets between may tear them apart forever.

“In Firefly Valley” is a very interesting read with many life lessons to learn along the way. Amanda Cabot uses the characters in her book to teach us about forgiving others, trusting God, trusting others, and many more valuable lessons. I really enjoyed reading this book and would definitely recommend reading this book.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell Publishing in exchange for my honest review.
