Amelia Christiansen returns to Deep Haven after spending time in Prague; however, she is terribly upset and angry that her trip was cut short because she convinces herself that she is not brave enough to embrace the adventures that she has always dreamed of. The last thing she ever expects is for the man who broke her heart to track her down back in her hometown and beg for her forgiveness.

Roark St. John is the heir to a European hotel dynasty who is running and trying to hide from his past. When he meets Amelia, he finds a new purpose for his life and a reason to stop running. When Amelia returns to America unexpectedly, Roark tracks her down to a little town in Minnesota. Roark will do whatever it takes to win Amelia back, even if it means taking on her entire family and her friends. When Amelia’s high school boyfriend tells Roark to back off, Roark is more determined than ever to win Amelia’s heart. Will Roark win the fair maiden or will Seth, the steady, dependable, and safe hometown boy, be the one Amelia chooses?

I enjoyed “The Wonder of You” and would highly recommend it. This was the first book that I read in the Christensen Family series, but I hope to go back and read the ones that I missed. In fact I would recommend reading the other four first, as I was slightly confused about what was going on with the rest of the siblings whose stories take place in the previous books. Susan May Warren tells an interesting story about making the right decisions, trusting in God, and honesty.

“Hearts Made Whole” by Jody Hedlund is a very interesting read that captured my attention and kept it through the entire book. The book is filled with intrigue, adventure, and romance. While the story in general was interesting, there were a couple of things that I did not appreciate being in a Christian fiction book.

I enjoyed reading Drawing Fire by Janice Cantore and I cannot wait until the second book comes out.  This is the first book that I have ever read by Janice Cantore, but I definitely plan to read more of her books. If you enjoy fast paced action, suspense, and mystery, then this book is for you. I am glad that I discovered Janice Cantore’s book, and I am looking forward to reading more books by her.

Matthew and Shannon begin to work together to collect the evidence Shannon has stored all of the country to put her kidnappers in prison. Along the way Matthew learns exactly what happened to Shannon during her eleven years as a prisoner, and he can’t believe everything that she has gone through. Matthew also begins to uncover the truth of what happened on the Memorial Day weekend that Shannon was abducted. I have enjoyed reading all of Dee Henderson’s books, and “Taken” did not disappoint me. From chapter one until the end, I was captivated by the characters and the storyline. Dee Henderson knows how to hold a reader’s attention, and she held mine once again with this intriguing story. She includes characters from her other books which I liked because it made me feel like I got to see what has happened in their lives after their stories. If you have not read Dee Henderson’s other books, I would recommend them. You don’t have to necessarily have to read them in order to know what is going on in this story, but it will help. I highly recommend this book to anybody you likes mystery and adventure.
