When Krista’s life is threatened, Cash will stop at nothing to protect from the danger that surrounds her. But Cash has to decide if she is really just an innocent woman being threatened and targeted or a guilty accomplice.

*************************************************************************************** “Explosive Alliance” is the book two in the First Responders Series. I was once again captivated by the adventures of the First Responders Unit. From page one until the end of the book I was drawn into the lives of the characters. I felt like I ran into a group of old friends and couldn’t wait to catch up with them. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to find out what happens to the FRT in book three. I also loved meeting Krista and her Opa. I admired the strength and faith that Opa had. The story is filled with many twists and turns and kept me in suspense until the very end. The mystery, romance, and drama were tied together beautifully. I was not able to put the book down until I was finished. I would highly recommend this book to anybody who loves a good mystery.

This is the first book that I have read by Cathy Gohlke and all I can say is WOW. I was drawn to this book because I have always enjoyed learning more about WW2, but I never expected anything like what I discovered in this book. Cathy Gohlke captured my attention from the very beginning and held me riveted until the very end. I could not put this book down. The way she intertwines the characters and their lives is brilliant. This is a beautiful story that teaches us about forgiveness and what holding on to anger and resentment will do to you. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves history or is looking for a great story.

“Web of Deceit” is book one for the Agents Under Fire series. This book is filled with lots of suspense, drama, and adventure. The villain is very scary and while I liked the book for the most part, I would recommend that you NOT read the book right before going to bed. The story is filled with many twists and turns that will keep your attention until the end.

“If the Shoe Fits” is a great story and is an excellent read. This book is filled with laughter, love, and some great lessons as well. I enjoyed reading this book, but I found myself getting frustrated with Julianne’s choices. I found myself wanting to shake her and tell her to wake up and open her eyes. I guess if one gets that involved in a book then it must be worth reading, right? I would recommend this book if you are looking for a fun and relaxing read.

I have always loved learning more about the World War II era and this book is filled with lots of history and many interesting facts that I was not aware of. I thoroughly enjoyed reading “Through Waters Deep” and I cannot wait to read the next installment in the Waves of Freedom series. The book also reminds us to trust in God no matter what is going on in our life and to give God the glory for everything that He has done. If you are a fan of history, mysteries, and romance, then you will most definitely enjoy this book.
