Here are a few things I learned about prayer this week.

1. We need to pray for our fellow Church members.
2. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us.
3. We should never stop giving thanks for the Church.
4. God will do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
5. We need to give thanks for all things.
6. God will supply all my needs.

Yep, I am still studying and learning about prayer. You can never know too much about prayer. Here are some things that stood out to me this week during my studies.

1. We need to pray that our faith will not fail. Even Jesus prayed that Peter's faith would not fail.
2. We need to pray that we will not enter into temptation.
3. Whatever we ask for in Jesus' Name, He will give it to us.
4. Our joy will be full when Jesus answers our prayers.
5. Jesus prays for us.

Here are this week's lessons on prayer. 

1. We need to ask God for His mercy.
2. We need to thank God for all that He does for us.
3. We need to pray in secret and not boast or brag about our prayer time or our prayers.

"Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?" this is a quote I came across this week by Holocaust survivor Corrie ten Boom. Ever since I saw this quote, I have been really convicted because I have not been praying like I should be. I have also been continuing my Bible study on prayer, and here are some things that stuck out at me this week.

1. We need to pray for our enemies and for those who "use us and abuse us."
2. God already knows what we need before we even ask Him.
3. We need to ask God to keep us from temptation.
4. We should never doubt that God will answer our prayers.
5. We need to have a quiet and solitary place to pray where we won't be distracted.
