This week I included verses on longsuffering for the Verse of the Day. Here are this weeks lessons on patience and longsuffering:

1. We need to suffer patiently. Yes, this is very hard because nobody wants to suffer.
2. We need to have patience with those who owe us a debt. We need to give them the time to repay us without constantly nagging them to repay us.
3. We will be known for whether or not we have patience.
4. God is very longsuffering with us. He gives us multiple chances.
5. God is longsuffering and forgives us of our sins.

Here are this week's lessons on patience:

1.We need to wait with patience.
2. When we endure patiently, we will obtain the promises of God.
3. We all need to have patience.
4. We need to wait patiently for answers to our prayers. God does hear us when we pray.
5. We need to wait patiently for God to deal with and correct those who do wrong. If you are like me, then you want people to be punished and straightened out immediately. However, God will judge them and correct them in His perfect time. In the meanwhile we need to wait patiently.

Throughout the month of September, I am studying verses that have to do with patience. So here are a few things that I have learned about being patient.

1. The Bible tells us to be patient. (Boy is this hard sometimes.)
2. We need to be patient even during trials and tribulations.
3. We need to be patient towards everyone.
4. God is a God of patience.
5. We need to follow after patience. (We should not hang around people who are always angry and losing their temper. If we do, then we will become just like them.)
6. We will be tried as Christians to increase our patience.
7. We need to "run the race that is set before us" with patience.
