Here are this week's lessons on fear:

1. Since we trust in God, we do not need to fear and worry about what man might do to us.
2. If we are in the center of God's Will, then we have no reason to fear.
3. God will fight for us, so we have no reason to be afraid.
4. God will not fail us or forsake us, so we do not need to fear.
5. God will help us, so we do not need to fear.

Lessons on Fear

This month I am studying verses on fear. (Yes, I went from peace to fear.) We all have something of which we are afraid. So, I thought we would see what the Bible has to say about fear.

1. God is my light, salvation, and strength. So what do I need to be afraid of? God is bigger than anything I may encounter.
2. God is on my side, so I don't need to fear what others may do to me.
3. God tells us to fear not because He is with us.
4. God does not give us fears. He gives us power and love.
5. We do not need to be afraid because we are of more value than the sparrows and God takes care of the sparrows, so He will take care of us.
6. When we are afraid, we need to trust in God.
7. We do not need to fear our enemies because will take care of them for us.
8. God's perfect love will cast out our fears.
9. God will deliver us from our fears.

1. We can have peace because Jesus died for us on the cross.
2. We need to do all we can to keep the bond of peace with others.
3. We have peace with God through Jesus.
4. We need to follow after peace. Since peace comes from Jesus, then we need to follow Him.

Lessons on Peace

We continue with our lessons on peace:

1. We can go to bed at night in peace with the knowledge that Jesus will keep us safe.
2. God is the Author of peace. He wants us to have peace in our churches and not strife and confusion.
3. God will give us peace from the battles that we may need to fight.
4. Jesus has the power to calm the storms. With this knowledge we can have peace during not only the storms of weather, but also the storms of life.
5. The more knowledge that we have of God, the more peace we will have.
6. If we want to have peace, then we need to sow peace.

Lessons on Peace

Having peace is something that I am sure that we all struggle with at some point in our lives. I know that I do. Here are a few things that I learned about peace this week from God's wonderful Word.

1. If our ways please God, He will make even our enemies to be at peace with us.
2. God wants us to live peaceably with everyone as much as we possibly can.
3. God gives us peace in our hearts, and we do not need to be afraid.
4. Peace from God will pass all understanding. We may not know what things are happening in our life, but God will give us the peace that we need.
5. God wants us to seek and pursue peace.
6. The world is full of trials and tribulations, but with God on our side we will have peace.
7. God will fill us with peace and joy.

Lessons on Peace

This month we are going to be looking at verses on peace in the Bible. Here is what I learned about peace this week:

1. We should let God fight for us instead of trying to fight for ourselves. The Bible tells us to hold our peace.
2. God blesses his people with peace.
3. If we truly love the Bible and God's law, then we will have peace. Nothing will be able to offend us.
4. If we keep God's commandments, He will had peace and long life to us.
5. We need to think about things that are Biblical and spiritually minded if we want to have peace.
6. We need to seek after peace.
7. We need to let the peace of God rule in our hearts.

Here are the things I learned about joy this week:

1. We need to make our parents happy and joyful by doing right and being wise.
2. God fills us with peace and joy.
3. Heaven is filled with joy!
4. If we keep the law, we will be happy.
5. God will turn our sorrows into joy.

This week I included a few lessons on being happy along with the ones for joy.

1. Finding wisdom will make us happy. (Sounds like it might be a good idea to study the Bible well in order to gain wisdom and happiness.)
2. We should shout for joy because God is our Defender.
3. We should we rejoice in God's strength and His salvation.
4. We should be happy that God corrects us. He shows us that He loves us, if He corrects us.
5. We should be happy that God is our Lord.

Lessons on Joy

Here are this weeks lessons on joy.

1. We need to make our prayer requests with joy. I got to wandering about this particular point - how are we supposed to give prayer requests with joy when usually we are worried or saddened by what we are praying for - but then I had this thought...we need to have faith and hope that God will answer our prayers. Just thinking about the fact that God can totally fix any problem we have should cause us to be happy and joyful. Also, I don't think God wants us to come to Him in prayer grumpy and angry with Him or anyone else.
2. Several times the Bible tells us to make a joyful noise unto the LORD. It must be pretty important to God that we are joyful and not grumpy and cranky.
3. Peace will give us joy.
4. We need to make a joyful noise with the instruments that we may play.
5. We need to go to church with joy. If we go to church with a chip on our shoulder or all angry and bitter, then it is going to be harder for us to get anything out of the service. Yes, I realize that church can uplift us and bless us, but it would be a whole lot better if go to church looking forward to hearing from God and learning more about Him than if we go to church dreading the services and with the "here we go again" mentality that we sometimes bring with us into a church service.
